About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paediatric Complex Care Assistant to join our team in Oxfordshire. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care and support to a young person with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering personalized care packages, which may include:

  • Tracheostomy care and management
  • Ventilation via tracheostomy
  • Nocturnal BiPap and Humidification - (Non-invasive ventilator)
  • Medication administration
  • Personal care (wash, nappy change etc)
  • Suctioning (Yankeur/Deep Suctioning)
  • PEG Feeding
  • Diabetes blood monitoring
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Catheterisation
  • Care and Use of Dual port - Gastro-Jej
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year of experience in Paediatrics
  • A strong understanding of complex care requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
