Health, Safety and Biosafety (HSBS) Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our HSBS team as an Administrator. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Institute's health, safety, and biosafety functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the organization of recurrent meetings, including the Health and Safety Consultative Committee and GM Safety Committee.
  • Monitor and respond to queries via Microsoft Outlook, triaging emails to the correct team members.
  • Coordinate training arrangements with external providers and manage the booking process.
  • Perform administrative duties related to HSBS project work, including document management and asset bank maintenance.
  • Act as 'Curator' for training modules on our training management platform, ensuring courses are assigned to trainees and reviewed by trainers.
  • Maintain the HSBS Asset bank and arrange for equipment calibration as required.
  • Assist with data collection for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs).
Requirements:
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office software, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Background in health, safety, and/or biosafety.
  • Experience managing an asset bank.
