About the Job

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Emotional Resilience Worker to join our team at Protocol Education. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in helping students with SEN and SEMH needs achieve their full potential.

The Role

As an Emotional Resilience Worker, you will work closely with students, teachers, and families to provide tailored support and encouragement necessary for students to succeed both academically and personally. You will offer one-on-one and group support to students, helping them build emotional resilience and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing emotional support to students with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Assisting students with coping strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges
  • Helping students develop social and emotional skills to thrive in the school environment
  • Working closely with teachers and special educational staff to create and implement individualised support plans
  • Encouraging positive behaviour, self-confidence, and independence among students
  • Supporting students to manage their mental health needs and providing a safe, supportive space when required

Salary Details

This role comes with a competitive salary of £84-95 per day, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting young people. Experience in supporting students with SEN/SEMH or in a similar well-being or educational role is highly desirable.
