Role Overview

This SEN and SEMH Needs Assistant role is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students. As an assistant, you will work closely with students, teachers, and families to provide individualised support and help students build emotional resilience and well-being.

Key responsibilities include offering one-on-one and group support to students, helping them develop social and emotional skills to thrive in the school environment. You will also assist students with coping strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges.

Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach are essential for this role. Experience in supporting students with SEN/SEMH or in a similar well-being or educational role is highly desirable.
