We are seeking a skilled Oncology Coordinator to join our team at Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of our Oncology Department, including booking appointments, greeting patients, and preparing clinics.

  • Book all patients' appointments, including clinic sessions and chemotherapy treatments.
  • Greet and collect patients from reception and escort them to their appointments.
  • Organize and prepare consultant clinics, ensuring smooth operations and minimal disruptions.
  • Arrange port insertions, blood transfusions, and other relevant procedures as required.
  • Prepare the Breast service area, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Chase CT, MRI, and PET scan appointments and results, following up with patients as needed.
  • Update the COSHH folder, maintaining accurate records and compliance.
  • Answer telephone calls and direct patient queries to relevant staff members or departments.
  • Complete GP discharge summaries from I Qemo, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Minute meetings, providing clear and concise summaries of discussions and decisions.

  • Flexibility and a 'can-do' attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow with the team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
