We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our Business Operations team in London, United Kingdom.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll & benefits for one or more regions, managing payrolls that include Sweden, Germany, the UK, US, Canada, Italy, and Spain using a mix of in-house, outsourced, and Employer of Record (EOR) solutions.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in payroll, ideally in a dynamic, fast-paced company, and expertise in US and EMEA payroll and benefits is highly desirable.
The role will involve partnering closely with our Global Payroll provider to ensure payroll calculations and general ledgers are accurate, compliant, and identifying areas for process improvements.
The successful candidate will also collaborate with our Benefits broker and technology partners to enhance and streamline payroll and benefits functions, working towards a best-in-class global program.
The role will require the ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and deliver high-quality results, as well as knowledge of payroll and HRIS platforms and experience working with AI-driven solutions for payroll and benefits optimization.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll & benefits for one or more regions in our Payroll & Benefits team.
- Partner closely with our Global Payroll provider to ensure payroll calculations and general ledgers are accurate, compliant, and identify areas for process improvements.
- Collaborate with our Benefits broker and technology partners to enhance and streamline payroll and benefits functions, working towards a best-in-class global program.
- Partner with People, Finance, Equity & Compensation, and Accounts teams on ad-hoc projects, ensuring best-in-class processes are designed and executed.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee information, time and attendance, and payroll transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees by resolving payroll and benefits inquiries.
- Leverage AI to innovate and evolve future payroll and benefits processes.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in payroll, ideally in a dynamic, fast-paced company.
- Expertise in US and EMEA payroll and benefits is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations across multiple countries and experience with outsourced Payroll and Benefits providers.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and deliver high-quality results.
- Knowledge of payroll and HRIS platforms.
- Experience working with AI-driven solutions for payroll and benefits optimization.
- Familiarity with a hybrid work environment across global offices.
