We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Social Work Professional to join our team as a Principal & Consultant Social Worker (Children's). This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate individual to make a real difference in the lives of children and families in Cornwall.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of social workers to deliver high-quality services to children and families.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice to improve outcomes for children and families.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on child welfare and protection.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to child protection and welfare.
- Significant experience of working in child protection and welfare, with a strong understanding of the complexities of child development and the impact of trauma.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with a track record of delivering high-quality services and improving outcomes for children and families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and service users.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services under pressure.
