About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Janitorial Services Coordinator to join our team at BAM UK & Ireland. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Responding to daily requests and resolving problems presented by clients, building users, and other stakeholders.
  • Providing a high level of customer satisfaction based on speed of response and completion rates.
  • Ensuring the safe and secure storage of spare parts, materials, tools, and consumables.
  • Reporting and dealing with maintenance issues in a timely manner.
  • Adhering to health and safety standards and complying with risk and method statements.
  • Removing internal and external waste and carrying out daily room set-ups and porterage requests.
  • Providing emergency cleaning services, including removal of graffiti and accidental body spills.
  • Responding and controlling door/gate entry systems and keys.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational institution.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to use own initiative and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Good IT skills and a full driving license.
