About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting students with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional help with their behaviour and learning.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour plans that meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Use positive behaviour management techniques to encourage students to develop positive attitudes and behaviours.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure that students receive the support they need.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the well-being and success of all students.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with students with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for supporting students with learning disabilities and promoting positive behaviour.
