Job Title: Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Job Summary:
Academics Ltd is seeking a skilled Behavioural Support Assistant to join our team. As a Behavioural Support Assistant, you will work with young learners who exhibit nonconforming behaviour that requires specialist adult intervention. Your role will involve implementing specific strategies, providing emotional support, and promoting positive habits to improve their overall well-being and social interactions with their peers.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with trained professionals, such as SENCOs, Educational Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists, to develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies.
Provide emotional support and promote positive habits to improve the well-being and social interactions of young learners with challenging behaviour.
Implement specific strategies to address nonconforming behaviour and promote positive outcomes.

Requirements:
Relevant experience of working with difficult behaviour, mental health issues, or SEN children is desirable.
Ability to build meaningful relationships with young learners and their families.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
