This is an exceptional opportunity to drive significant changes in the way reporting and Business Intelligence operate within a massive data warehouse for one of the world's largest suppliers and procurement systems.

The firm, under a new contract, provides administrative and payment services, manages supplies, and processes payment information. As part of the team delivering opportunities to drive service and business performance, you will work on an inherited technical environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining effective reporting processes
  • Designing and implementing bespoke applications for data capture and reporting purposes
  • Leading best practices around the use of data for Management Information (MI) reporting purposes
  • Resolving data quality issues through robust data investigation and resolution activity
  • Supporting wider Business Change management processes

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with the Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS)
  • Data investigation and technical problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and data presentation packages (Power BI)
  • Excellent analytical and documentation skills
  • Proven track record in developing others and line management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of relational database theory and architecture
  • Experience with data/MI change programs and data warehouse technologies
  • Familiarity with technical challenges in Operational MI reporting

We estimate the salary for this position to be approximately £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
