About this role: Quest Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Clerks of Payroll Administration to manage a portfolio of clients' payrolls and provide expert advice and guidance.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients' payrolls, providing advice and information on SMP & SSP
  • Assist in the management of a varied client portfolio, from smaller limited companies to larger weekly/monthly payrolls
  • Process payroll, including uploading workplace pensions contributions to pension providers
  • Deal with HMRC PAYE/NI regarding queries
Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced payroll administrator with a strong background in payroll legislation and compliance.

  1. At least 5 years of experience in payroll administration, with a focus on client communication and query resolution
  2. Strong understanding of HMRC regulations and requirements
  3. Excellent organisational and time management skills
  4. Proficiency in using software such as Sage 50 Payroll, Brightpay, and IRIS
  5. Able to work independently and as part of a team
Package Details:
  • Estimated salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience
