About this role: Quest Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Clerks of Payroll Administration to manage a portfolio of clients' payrolls and provide expert advice and guidance.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of clients' payrolls, providing advice and information on SMP & SSP
- Assist in the management of a varied client portfolio, from smaller limited companies to larger weekly/monthly payrolls
- Process payroll, including uploading workplace pensions contributions to pension providers
- Deal with HMRC PAYE/NI regarding queries
We are looking for an experienced payroll administrator with a strong background in payroll legislation and compliance.
- At least 5 years of experience in payroll administration, with a focus on client communication and query resolution
- Strong understanding of HMRC regulations and requirements
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using software such as Sage 50 Payroll, Brightpay, and IRIS
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Estimated salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience
