Fleet Maintenance Support Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our fleet maintenance administration team at the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the fleet team, ensuring the smooth operation of our vehicle fleet.
Main Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative support, with experience in using Microsoft Office and other software applications. They will be responsible for managing complex records, prioritizing tasks, and working to tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Educated to GCSE level (including English and Maths) or equivalent
- Previous experience in a busy fleet office environment
- Computer literate with an understanding of spreadsheets and Microsoft Office suite

Essential Criteria
- Educated to GCSE/O Level in 3 subjects including English/Maths or equivalent
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in office administration
- European Computer Driver Licence
- Evidence of continued Professional Development

- Driving Licence

- Pleasant telephone manner and ability to interact with customers/public
- Self-motivated
- Good communication and relationship skills
- Good standard of numeracy/literacy. Strong organisation/prioritisation qualities to include management of filing systems of complex records.
Knowledge
Essential Criteria
- 3 years previous clerical experience within a busy fleet office environment
- Computer literate with an understanding of spreadsheets and all Microsoft office suite.
- General office procedures and practices
Desirable Criteria
- Working knowledge of Trust policies relating to Fleet
- Financial knowledge e.g VAT, Trust SFI's
