About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Owner to drive the development and success of our fintech client's product suite. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap:

  • Own the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Identify and prioritize features based on market trends, customer feedback, and strategic objectives.

Requirements Gathering:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Use data-driven insights to drive decision-making and prioritize features.

Backlog Management:

  • Develop, refine, and manage the product backlog.
  • Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensure timely completion of features in alignment with Agile methodologies.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with engineering, data science, UX, and QA teams to design and implement product features that meet high standards of security, performance, and usability.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as the point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status, gather feedback, and ensure alignment across all parties.

Market & Industry Analysis:

  • Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in fintech, including emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and customer preferences.
  • Ensure our products remain competitive and compliant.

Data & Analytics Integration:

  • Drive the integration of advanced analytics, machine learning, and data science capabilities into the product.
  • Leverage user data and financial insights to improve product functionality and user experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, ideally in a fintech or data-driven environment.
  • Strong technical background with experience working closely with engineering and data teams.
  • Familiarity with APIs, SDKs, and cloud-based solutions is preferred.
  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and proficiency with product management tools such as JIRA or similar.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable tasks and understand user behavior through data.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
