Job Description

In this role, you will be part of Pick for Britain's Rugby Borough Council Regulatory Services team, working on complex issues that impact living conditions. As a Regulatory Services Professional, you will use your expertise to enforce laws related to private sector housing and improve living standards.

About the Job

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with experience in using powers under the Housing Act 2004 and the Housing and Planning Act 2016. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of private sector housing legislation and previous experience in a housing enforcement or regulatory capacity.

The successful candidate will apply civil penalties, rent repayment orders, and licensing powers to drive meaningful change and improve living conditions in the community.

Main Tasks
  • Collaborate with the Environmental Health Team to deliver a high-quality service to residents
  • Apply powers under the Housing Act 2004 and the Housing and Planning Act 2016 to enhance living conditions
  • Support the Team Leader as needed and assist with management functions

£31,586 - £35,235 per annum (or £35,235 – £39,513 per annum depending on experience)
