About the Job

Palo Alto Networks is a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions. We are seeking an experienced Sales Solutions Expert to join our team as a Major Account Manager in the Defence Sector.

The successful candidate will have experience selling complex solutions, value selling, and/or consultative sales techniques. They will also possess technical aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems, as well as strong enterprise sales experience with a proven track record of success.

  • Create, drive and orchestrate large complex sales cycles and work with internal partners and teams to best serve the customer and execute sales plans.
  • Challenge the status quo and current ways of operating to identify opportunities for Palo Alto Networks' next-generation security services to drive significant benefits operationally and from a business case perspective.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in the UK Defence Industry that contribute to the overall growth of the business.
  • Use consultative selling experience to identify business challenges and create solutions for customers, creating compelling value propositions with insights.
What You'll Do

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the UK Defence Industry and Defence Sector as a whole, as well as its key players. They will also be able to build and execute against Joint Venture approaches within the Defence Industry.

This role is a significant driver of company revenue and growth, and we are looking for a motivated and experienced sales professional who can help us achieve our goals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security industry.
  • Demonstrated experience selling complex solutions, value selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
  • Demonstrate experience in disrupting or challenging the status quo - through new business and platform wins.
  • Technical aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
  • Cultivate relationships with CXX level customers and Key Partners to drive impact.
  • Strong enterprise sales experience, proven track record of success, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the full sales cycle and the ability to follow a structured sales process (ideally 6+ years experience in sales roles).
