About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as Deputy Head of Physiotherapy and Health Services. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of evidence-based best practice and contribute to the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality physiotherapy and health services across Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of evidence-based best practice in physiotherapy and health services
  • Support the Head of Profession for Physiotherapy in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality physiotherapy and health services
  • Provide professional supervision to senior physiotherapists and health practitioners
  • Contribute to the development of future workforce planning and strategic direction
  • Represent the Physiotherapy Service locally and nationally

Requirements

  • Registered Physiotherapist with the HCPC
  • Relevant Masters qualification or equivalent work experience
  • Appropriate management development/leadership qualification
  • Knowledge of physiotherapy across various practice areas
  • Experience working as a senior Physiotherapist in multiple settings
