Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading the development of evidence-based best practice in physiotherapy and health services
- Providing professional leadership and governance for physiotherapy and health services across the Trust
- Working closely with operational managers to ensure the current workforce is appropriately trained and has the appropriate skill mix
- Contributing to the development of future workforce planning in conjunction with the Head of Profession, HR, and operational managers
- Supporting the implementation of evidence-based physiotherapy best practice, including innovative and evolving roles within the Trust and wider system

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have:
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Relevant Masters qualification or equivalent work at this level
- Appropriate management development/leadership qualification
- Knowledge of physiotherapy across the range of mental health, physical community health, paediatric, and learning disability physiotherapy practice areas
- Working knowledge of the modernisation and development issues facing healthcare services
- Experience working as a senior physiotherapist in numerous settings and representing a broad range of care environments and client groups
- Evidence of sustained practice development and achievement in previous posts
- Experience of research, quality improvement, audit, or evaluation processes
