Deputy Head Housekeeper - Live In Accommodation Available

De Vere Tortworth Court, a stunning 201-bedroom hotel in South Gloucestershire, is seeking an experienced Deputy Head Housekeeper to join their team. As a key member of the housekeeping management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of housekeeping and guest service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Executive Head Housekeeper to set, monitor, and maintain housekeeping and guest service standards.
  • Deputise for the Head Housekeeper as required, supervising the team and regulating housekeeping costs.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of warmth and belonging among colleagues.
  • Build genuine relationships with team members, empowering them to take pride in their work.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in hotels, ideally in a similar role and in a similar-sized property.
  • Ability to deliver a consistent level of service under pressure, with a keen eye for detail.
  • IT literacy and previous experience with Opera and Fourth Hospitality systems.
  • Awareness of relevant legislation, including health and safety, COSSHH, environmental health, and fire precautions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.
  • Well-organised, with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage work schedules and rotas.
