Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Deputy Director for Quality Governance. The successful candidate will provide professional leadership and governance for physiotherapy and health and exercise across Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional supervision to senior physiotherapists and health and exercise practitioners across the Trust.
- Support the Head of Profession for Physiotherapy to deliver physiotherapy leadership, high standards of care, and quality outcomes.
- Implement a strong culture of co-production and effective engagement with people who come into contact with our services.
- Work closely with the Head of Profession to set expected service outcomes and interpret national and professional policies.
- Contribute to the development of future workforce planning in conjunction with the Head of Profession, HR, and operational managers.
- Support the implementation of evidence-based physiotherapy best practice and innovative roles within the Trust and wider system.
- Engage the physiotherapy workforce and make complex decisions about job satisfaction and patient experience and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and governance skills.
- Experience in physiotherapy and health and exercise.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret national and professional policies.
