About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as Deputy Director of Physiotherapy and Health Services. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of evidence-based best practice in physiotherapy and health services across Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional leadership and governance for physiotherapy and health services across the Trust.
- Work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement innovative and evolving physiotherapy and health services roles.
- Support the Head of Profession for Physiotherapy to deliver high-quality physiotherapy and health services.
- Lead the development of evidence-based best practice in physiotherapy and health services.
- Engage with the physiotherapy and health services workforce to promote job satisfaction and best patient experience and outcomes.
Requirements
- Registered Physiotherapist with the HCPC.
- Relevant Masters qualification or equivalent work experience.
- Appropriate management development/leadership qualification.
- Knowledge of physiotherapy across the range of mental health, physical community health, paediatric, and learning disability physiotherapy practice areas.
- Working knowledge of modernization and development issues facing healthcare services.
- Experience working as a senior Physiotherapist in numerous settings and representing a broad range of care environments and client groups.
- Evidence of sustained practice development and achievement in previous posts.
- Experience of research, quality improvement, audit, or evaluation processes.
