We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide care and support to vulnerable young people at our specialist residential home in Hampshire. This rewarding role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with complex needs.


The successful candidate will work as a therapeutic parent, building trusting relationships with the children and providing a safe and caring environment. In this fulfilling position, you will be part of a diverse team, engaging in activities that promote the children's wellbeing and development.


This role involves a shift pattern of alternate weekends with a mixture of early and late shifts and sleep-in duties. We offer flexible working requests and a thorough induction programme, including mandatory training, for all new staff members.


As a Caregiver for Vulnerable Young People, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through comprehensive training and ongoing support. Experience working with children or young people in a residential or secure setting is desirable but not essential.


This role requires an Enhanced DBS disclosure and Safeguarding Check. We are a Disability Confident Employer, committed to an inclusive and accessible recruitment process.


Our residential home is easily commutable from Winchester, Eastleigh, Portsmouth, and Fareham. Working hours are 37 hours per week, with a permanent contract. The estimated salary for this role is £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
