Job Title: Senior Community Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Community Support Worker to join our team at Bedfordshire Supported Housing Ltd.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to our service users in their own homes. As a Senior Community Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing guidance, motivation, support, and supervision to our dedicated community support worker team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals to access their community
  • Develop relationships and liaise with external healthcare professionals
  • Act as key worker to a small group of service users
  • Conduct service user reviews
  • Accompany service users to appointments
  • Help with shopping and light household tasks
  • Assist with personal care and medication management

Requirements:

  • Experience and knowledge of caring for people with a variety of conditions
  • NVQ or diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Great management skills and good written/verbal communication
  • Full driving license or ability to get around Milton Keynes easily
