Finance Modernisation Administrator

About the Team

Our Finance department is known for its welcoming atmosphere. We are a dedicated and innovative group that values hard work and embodies the principles of NEXT.

This position is part of the Finance Modernisation team, currently engaged in a significant transformation initiative.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will deliver essential administrative support to the Finance Modernisation team, primarily working from the office.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinating schedules for internal and external meetings, including managing invitations through Google Calendar.
  • Assisting managers by documenting meeting notes and tracking action items.
  • Overseeing meeting room bookings and ensuring facilities are well-maintained and equipped.
  • Managing correspondence and emails promptly and professionally.
  • Aiding in the creation of reports and documentation.
  • Organising a systematic filing system for both physical and digital documents.
  • Planning onsite and offsite meetings, as well as team-building events.
  • Facilitating travel arrangements as needed.
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Handling various departmental administrative tasks.
  • Collaborating with other administrative professionals and teams.
  • Monitoring and managing relevant email inboxes and calendars.
  • Ordering office supplies and equipment as necessary.
  • Ensuring the general upkeep of the office environment.

Candidate Profile

  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and open to change.
  • Clear and confident communicator, willing to challenge the status quo.
  • Proficient in PC applications, particularly Excel and Google tools.
  • High level of confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Previous experience in a PA or administrative role is essential.
