About the Job

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and caring individual to make a real difference in the lives of young people with complex needs. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to students with SEMH and related diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement individualised learning plans.
  • Provide positive Behaviour Management and effective de-escalation techniques.
  • Build strong relationships with students, families and other professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and involvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEMH and related diagnoses (ASD, ADHD, ODD).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.

Estimated Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum.
