About the Role

Carestaff Solutions is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Children's Residential Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Quality Care: Work within the policies and procedures of the client environment to ensure the delivery of safe, structured, and nurturing care.
  • Monitor and Maintain Administrative Requirements: Ensure that administrative tasks are completed to meet the standards set out in children's legislation and home working practices.
  • Promote a Safe and Structured Environment: Proactively engage with young people who display challenging behavior and promote a culture of safety and well-being.
  • Identify and Mitigate Risks: Assist young people in identifying unsafe situations, individuals, and groups, and ensure that safeguarding protocols are in place.
  • Ensure Health, Safety, and Well-being: At all times, ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the children and young people in your care.
  • Utilize Intervention Strategies: Ensure that a variety of intervention strategies are used to manage behavior and promote positive outcomes.
  • Create an Open Culture: Foster an open culture with the young people in your care, promoting trust and understanding.
