Job Title: Senior Coach

As a Senior Coach at Supercare Residential, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people. Your role will involve providing day-to-day care and support to our residents, helping them to become more independent and succeed in their education and personal growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Direct work with young people, key working, and providing day-to-day care and support on a shift work basis.
  2. Working in partnership with young people, their social workers, and other relevant agencies to ensure their needs are met.
  3. Coordinating, monitoring, and reviewing care plans for allocated young people, preparing them for transition to adulthood and greater independence.
  4. Ensuring the upkeep of the establishment, maintaining health and safety, and making autonomous decisions about individual young people's requests and behavior.
  5. Supporting young people to take responsibility for their own lives, keeping them informed of their circumstances and rights, and involving them in planning their lives.
  6. Responding to safeguarding concerns and reporting them effectively.
  7. Attending to the day-to-day needs of young people, including bathing, feeding, and cooking.
  8. Caring for the fabric, equipment, and overall environment of the establishment.
Personal Qualities:
  1. Acting as a role model and guide for young people, setting principles and examples.
  2. Making use of regular professional supervision.
  3. Working shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, on a rota basis as required.
