About the PositionThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic community team, promoting the health and wellbeing of children with learning disabilities and their families.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (Learning Disability) to manage a defined caseload of children with learning disabilities and additional health needs, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Key Responsibilities
- To assess and plan care for children with learning disabilities and additional health needs.
- To deliver high standards of care and treatment in the home and various community settings.
- To contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to the delivery of the service.
Requirements
- Current NMC registration in Learning Disabilities (RNLD).
- Evidence of good practice, experience of effective inter-agency working within Learning Disability Services.
- Ability to participate in peer supervision and continuous professional development.
