Job Title: Lead Educator for Resuscitation Services
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Educator for Resuscitation Services to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering paediatric resuscitation training programs, developing clinical skills, and improving patient care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver paediatric resuscitation training programs in line with Resuscitation Council UK guidelines
- Collaborate with clinical staff to identify and develop resuscitation improvement strategies
- Lead on quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinical skills
- Provide subject matter expertise in paediatric resuscitation and management of complex needs
- Develop and implement resuscitation education programs for staff
- Conduct regular audits and provide reports on project progress
- Deputise for the Head of Resuscitation Services at meetings with senior stakeholders
Requirements:
- NMC Registered Nurse
- Instructor for Paediatric Advanced Life Support courses
- Evidence of continuing professional development within resuscitation
- Evidence of current Revalidation with NMC
- Relevant Master's degree (working towards) or equivalent experience
- Experience of debriefing training/PEERS training
- Evidence of valid Resuscitation Teaching qualification (GIC)
