Beaumont Care Homes, a leading provider of residential and nursing care services in Northern Ireland, is seeking an experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team.

We offer a competitive salary range of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality food services and be committed to providing excellent customer care to our residents.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of kitchen colleagues to deliver a first-class catering service to our residents. This includes preparing high-quality, fresh meals that cater to individual nutritional needs and preferences.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to achieve exceptional standards in food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus in consultation with the Home Manager, residents, families, and catering committees.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety management systems and maintain a safe kitchen environment.
  • Monitor and replenish stock levels, including checking and receiving deliveries.
  • Supervise and train kitchen colleagues, ensuring they meet expected standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, menu planning, and staff supervision.

Requirements:

  • Chef qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience as a chef or cook in a similar setting
  • Food hygiene certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Knowledge of nutrition science for the elderly and HACCP documentation
