Job Description

To provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care to women and babies during their pregnancy, birth and aftercare. This role offers the opportunity to practice all midwifery skills in a community setting.

We currently operate both a traditional community midwifery service as well as team based Continuity of Care (CoC) models. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for meeting the needs of the women we serve, including covering the homebirth on-call service.

This role also offers opportunities for involvement in Pan London working, participation in projects across East London's Local Maternity System (LMS) in relation to maternity transformation, and partnership working particularly with our Children's and Maternity Safeguarding teams. You will need to be confident in working alone and as part of a supportive community midwifery team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered Midwife
  • Degree in midwifery or equivalent
  • Driving Licence
