Job Title: Midwife in Community Healthcare

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced midwife to join our team as a Band 6 Community Midwife. As a key member of our midwifery service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, woman-centred care to women and families in our community.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. You will also need to have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive antenatal and postnatal care to women and families
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participating in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to midwifery practice
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues promptly

Requirements:

  • Degree in Midwifery Practice from a recognised UK university
  • Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development through maintenance of a professional portfolio and registration revalidation

Salary: £38,890 - £44,503 per annum

Location: Gloucestershire
