About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team at Peterborough City Council.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with statutory partners and co-located agencies to provide effective joint working and decision making for children and families in Peterborough.
  • Develop and implement a refreshed practice model with innovative ways of working with children and families.
  • Embed a restorative culture that enables professional learning and development.
  • Contribute to the development of our workforce with a new dynamic leadership team in place and an evolving workforce strategy.

Requirements

  • Qualified and registered Senior Practitioner with experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrable skills in analysis, particularly family histories, and ability to apply thresholds consistently when making decisions about children.
  • Ability to supervise and support alternatively qualified staff and deputise as needed for the Team Manager.
  • Strong understanding of our organisational values and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Keen to make regular contributions to team learning and development.
