Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced events professional to join our busy Student Recruitment Marketing team at the University of Leeds.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Senior Marketing Events Executive to support the delivery of an annual programme of recruitment events and activities to engage and inspire a diverse range of prospective students from across the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of recruitment event activity (campus based, virtual and hybrid) for all cohorts (undergraduate and postgraduate), including University-wide open days, campus tours, offer holder days, and subject conversion events.
  • Oversee the recruitment and management of a centralised student ambassador programme.
  • Plan and deliver a range of events including virtual and large-scale physical events.
  • Develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including students, staff, and external partners.
  • Work collaboratively and interchangeably with other marketing colleagues, adapting and sharing resources depending on changing strategic focus and areas of opportunity.

Requirements:

  • Experience of planning and delivering a range of events, including virtual and large-scale physical events.
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong focus on the customer experience.
