Employee Relations Expert

About Our Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a highly skilled HR professional with a solid background in employee relations and a proven track record of managing complex caseloads.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance to managers on HR policies and procedures.
- Manage a diverse caseload, including absence, conduct, grievance, and capability matters.
- Act as a key point of contact for employees, offering advice on HR policies and procedures.
- Support managers with absence and attrition tracking, as well as coordinating Occupational Health support when necessary.
- Maintain and update HR information systems, generating reports to support the department's needs.
Requirements:
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent (candidates working towards this qualification will also be considered).
- Proven HR experience in a fast-paced setting, with strong skills in employee relations and absence management.
- Solid understanding of employment law and statutory employee rights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
Salary and Benefits:
This role comes with a competitive salary up to £34,000 per annum, as well as fully expensed travel between services in Newport and Cardiff.
