About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our team as Operations Director at Brainkind. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic and operational performance of our neurological and brain injury services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a robust strategy for Brainkind's operations, ensuring financial viability and recognition as a leading service provider.
  • Lead the development of a culture of high performance, openness, and collaborative working, aligned with Brainkind's shared values.
  • Be accountable for the effective management and delivery of operational services, achieving defined regulatory, quality, and financial targets.
  • Work closely with the Executive Director of Service Delivery to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, NHS, Local Authorities, and other partners.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Demonstrate business focus.
  • Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity while under workload and timescale pressures.
  • Ability to develop a culture that empowers frontline staff, devolves decision making, and encourages creativity and continuous learning.
  • Significant experience of senior accountability for operational or clinical services within the NHS or relevant non-NHS roles.
  • Clear understanding of national health policy.
  • Experience of commissioning Brain Injury and/or Community Services.
