Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our team as an Operational Innovations Director/Senior Manager. This role will be responsible for driving the strategic and operational performance of our neurological and brain injury services, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a robust strategy for Brainkind's operations, ensuring financial viability and recognition as a leading service provider.
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to optimize occupancy and referrals, and implement plans to increase service delivery.
  • Translate innovative strategies into growth by planning, adapting, and mobilizing new services, and delivering benefits defined in business cases.
  • Lead, direct, motivate, and engage operational and clinical staff to deliver high-quality care and support.
  • Ensure rigorous monitoring and auditing review systems are in place, and work with the Quality Assurance function to embed an integrated performance and accountability framework.
  • Recognize and pursue new opportunities, service improvements, and Brainkind-wide initiatives, and work with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement plans.
  • Ensure the highest standards of governance and probity are maintained, and that all resources within operational service delivery work are managed in accordance with Brainkind's policies and procedures.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence, maximizing resources to deliver high-quality care and support in the most cost-effective manner.
Requirements
  • Experience in commissioning Brain Injury and/or Community Services.
  • Clear understanding of national health policy.
  • Ability to develop a culture that empowers frontline staff, devolves decision making to its lowest level, is risk aware, and encourages creativity and continuous learning.
  • Demonstrated business focus and ability to deliver against service delivery targets while maintaining high-quality services.
