Operations Director Job Description

CSG is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our Midlands operations team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing processes, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage all operational activities within the Midlands region, including staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and performance management.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
  3. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies, maintaining a strong focus on safety and security.
  4. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute operational plans that support the company's overall strategic objectives.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration.
  6. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  7. Provide leadership and direction to operational teams, coaching and developing staff to maximize their potential and drive results.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  2. Proven experience in operations leadership roles, with a minimum of [X] years of experience in a similar capacity.
  3. Strong understanding of operational processes and best practices, with a track record of driving continuous improvement.
  4. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their goals.

  6. Experience in the security industry or related field is a plus.
