Care Assistant Opportunity

We are looking for a compassionate Care Assistant to support an individual with autism in Chesterfield. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing daily living assistance, promoting independence, and accompanying the individual to health appointments.

Key Duties:

  • To provide care and support to the individual with autism, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • To empower the individual's independence by encouraging and supporting them to make informed decisions and choices.
  • To attend health appointments with the individual and offer emotional support as needed.
  • To maintain accurate records of the individual's care and support plans.

Requirements:

  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with autism is highly desirable.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and support.

Salary: £15 per hour (enhanced rate on all Bank Holidays)

Location: Chesterfield

Available Shifts: Days and Nights
