Adult Autism Support Professional

We are seeking an experienced Residential Support Worker to join our team at Horizon Care & Education. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to young people with autism in our residential settings. Our approach is based on relationship-building and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
About the Role
This role involves supporting young people in daily life, including assisting with morning routines, preparing evening meals, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. You will also contribute to creating engaging activities and experiences that promote social interaction, learning, and personal growth. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people and colleagues alike. A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer competitive pay rates, as well as a range of benefits including a Christmas bonus, Blue Light Card, colleague referral scheme, financial wellbeing service, and life assurance. Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess relevant qualifications and experience working with young people with autism. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team. A full UK driving licence and reliable transportation are also required.
