At Amazon, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Contracts Lead to join our team in Germany. As a member of our Business Contracts Management team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing contracting strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in group reviews of customer contractual and purchase documents
  • Coordinate legal activities for contract/agreement negotiation and support the competitive bid process in reviewing RFPs and enabling contract compliance
  • Complete SOP Playbook to facilitate overall management of each signed contract
  • Review proposed RFx to identify risks and access compliance capabilities; Advise on contracting issues and approaches with respect to commercial terms and conditions as well as acquisition policy and regulations
  • Lead all contract implementation activities including notifying compliance stakeholders and facilitating reporting requirements and fee payments
  • Develop and launch Go-To-Market plan for each contract to educate Customer Advisors and leverage the contract as an engagement vehicle
  • Facilitate customer meetings; Support the Customer Advisor team in educating contracting leads on Amazon Business
  • Establish internal reporting on contract performance and own monitoring and reporting on progress, including oral and written presentations to EU senior leadership

As a Strategic Business Contracts Lead, you will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to develop and execute contracting strategies that drive business results. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Fluent German and English skills (C1+ level)
  • Several years of contracts management experience, preferably in the public or private sector
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
