We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Research, Policy and Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a consistent framework of operation for regulatory compliance and adherence with funder terms and conditions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive research strategy and policy framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and funder terms and conditions.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to researchers, academic staff, and professional services on matters related to research governance, compliance, and integrity.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues to develop and implement training programs for researchers and academic staff on research governance, compliance, and integrity.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including funders, partners, and HEIs, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of research governance, compliance, and integrity processes and procedures, and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, plus significant experience in research governance, compliance, and integrity.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective research strategies and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and personal accountability.
