About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Coordinator to join our team at Cathedral View House. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all residents' needs are met, including personal hygiene, continence, fluid and nutrition, while protecting their dignity and maintaining a professional relationship.

As a Senior Care Coordinator, you will be part of a team that includes nurses, officers, senior carers, kitchen staff, laundry, cleaners, management, maintenance, and activities staff. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Encouraging independence, ensuring privacy and respect for each resident
  • Creating a safe environment where residents feel comfortable, supported, and empowered
  • Working closely with senior carers on shift and being supervised by the nurse in charge
  • Maintaining the highest standard of care in accordance with policies, aims, and objectives of Cathedral View

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, organisation skills, customer care skills, problem-solving skills, presentation skills, logical thinking, team working, initiative, and a non-judgmental attitude.
