About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Schenker Deutschland AG as a Business Development Manager, where you will play a key role in driving business growth and developing new revenue streams in the European road freight market.

Responsibilities

  • Source and develop new business opportunities from national and local key customers in the European road freight market.
  • Collaborate closely with Product/Business Unit Management in Land to ensure a higher win ratio and achieve business objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and tactics to drive business growth and revenue expansion.

Requirements

  • Proven sales track record with a strong background in land freight and customs clearance services.
  • Excellent industry knowledge within European road transport and a deep understanding of the market.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to identify and close new business opportunities.
  • Commercially aware and skilled in high-level negotiations, with a strong focus on driving business growth and revenue expansion.
