Clinical Assessor

Maximus is seeking an experienced Nurse or Paramedic to join our team as a Clinical Assessor. This role involves conducting assessments to determine the impact of a person's disability or health condition on their daily life.
In this challenging yet rewarding position, you will use your clinical knowledge and experience to produce comprehensive reports to support benefit claims. Our tailored training programme will equip you with the necessary skills to thrive in this role.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
- Producing Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine a person's eligibility for benefits.
Requirements
You must have a valid HCPC registration number and at least 1 year of broad post-registration experience gained within or outside of an NHS ambulance trust. The right to work in the UK is also required.
We offer a competitive salary of £37,800, flexible working arrangements, no bank holidays, evenings or weekends, leading maternity and paternity paid leave, and ongoing CPD, clinical development and reimbursed validation fees.
