Out of Hours Advanced Clinical Practitioner

About the Role
Cumbria Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Out of Hours team on a bank basis. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients across South Cumbria, working primarily evening and night shifts.
Main Responsibilities
- Work independently as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, using your professional judgment to assess, diagnose, and manage patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
- Initiate treatment, investigations, advice, and management of problems, liaising with other healthcare professionals and service providers as needed.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of a high-quality, innovative service to the community, implementing evidence-based clinical practice and ongoing professional development.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner with a strong background in acute or primary care settings. You will have a proven track record of autonomous practice, assessing and managing patients with undifferentiated presentations, and evidence of good practice and leadership skills.
Requirements
- Significant post-registration experience (minimum 3 years in a relevant field, acute or primary care setting)
- Evidence of autonomous practice assessing and managing patients with undifferentiated presentations
- Leadership skills and experience of working within primary or urgent care
