Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Specialist Practitioner to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust. As a key member of our Community Respiratory Service, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of people living with respiratory disease across Morecambe Bay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert practice and specialist professional judgement to support the patient journey.
  • Conduct thorough, holistic assessments and clinical examinations to coordinate and deliver specialist clinical care interventions.
  • Work closely with the Morecambe Bay Respiratory Network teams and wider multidisciplinary team to improve respiratory disease management and early diagnosis.
  • Measure, audit, and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the service, engaging in continuous service improvement.
  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and training to support an overall improvement in Chronic Respiratory Disease management.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to the development of new services and pathways for respiratory care. You will have the chance to work closely with system partners to embed the delivery of CORE+20 and local population health agendas.

As a Respiratory Specialist Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with respiratory disease, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care pathways.
