Pizza Hut Restaurant General Manager

Glenshire Group, a Scottish family-owned conglomerate, is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead the daily operations of a Pizza Hut restaurant. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial well-being of the operation, maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all front-of-house and back-of-house operations, including equipment maintenance and inventory management.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, and security standards, and implement action plans for improvement as needed.
  • Meet food cost and labor goals, and manage P&L statements in accordance with financial control and security standards.
  • Adapt to changing trends, market conditions, and environmental factors, and modify store plans to meet business targets.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Lead with a growth mindset, modeling Smart, Heart, and Courage.
  • Set high standards for self and others, and implement restaurant training programs to enable team members to meet required standards.
  • Recruit, hire, and bench plan restaurant team members, and oversee training, development, and performance management.
  • Build and lead a store management team, and report back to the manager on performance and activities.

  • Create a culture of positivity and inclusivity, following Yum's culture and values.
  • Build strong customer relations by engaging with all customers, and demonstrate self-responsibility and a helpful, upbeat, friendly, and positive attitude at all times.
  • Ensure positive customer experience by taking feedback and resolving complaints.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • 3 years of multi-outlet food retail or service industry experience at a supervisory/management level.
  • Proven track record of on-target performance in Balanced Scorecard KPIs (or equivalent) with primary profit responsibility.
  • Certified in Leading a Restaurant (LAR).
  • Clear ITC check.
  • Ability to move as required between restaurants according to the needs of the business.
