Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist Pharmacist to join our team of healthcare professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to progress in their career and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high-quality pharmacy service to allocated clinical areas, ensuring timely and accurate medicines reconciliation on admission, ongoing inpatient monitoring and review in accordance with agreed acuity and complexity requirements, and optimising medications to deliver a safe and appropriate discharge service to patients.
The Clinical Specialist Pharmacist will also be involved in supporting the wider multidisciplinary team in the safe and effective use of medicines, and the promotion of the pharmacy service across the site.

Person Specification
- Professional knowledge acquired through the vocational masters degree in pharmacy or equivalent pre-registration experience.
- Demonstrable experience in training of other healthcare professionals.
- Experience in supervision of other staff.
- Financial awareness in the management of drug budgets.
- Research experience.
