Join Our Team as a Clinical Research Midwife

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Research Midwife to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Research Midwife, you will play a crucial role in supporting and delivering clinical research studies at Saint Mary's at Wythenshawe.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a part-time Clinical Research Midwife to contribute to the development of research within our midwifery research team. You will work closely with our experienced team to design, implement, and evaluate clinical research studies, ensuring that they are conducted to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and deliver clinical research studies at Saint Mary's at Wythenshawe
  • Contribute to the development of research within our midwifery research team
  • Work closely with our experienced team to design, implement, and evaluate clinical research studies
  • Ensure that clinical research studies are conducted to the highest standards of quality and safety
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in a healthcare subject or equivalent experience
  • Midwife Ultrasound Practitioner qualification
  • Additional specialist training
  • Understanding of clinical research and knowledge of ICH-Good Clinical Practice regulations
  • Knowledge of clinical and research governance
  • Knowledge of Trust policies and procedures
